Something new

During the summer I plan to do a major re-vamp of dropthephone, which as well as new content and a new layout, a new host. I need to find somebody cheaper… (If you have any recommendations, let me know)

I’m just fed up and almost stuck with what to do next. I’m trying to do so many things on this site and it feels like too much. I may end up focussing on resources/download and writing reviews about various sites and resources. The reviews might be a bit like my ‘amy likes’/'resource drop’ blogs.

I guess that’s just what I enjoy.

Questions:
1. What’s the weather like where you live?
2. Do you think I should write more/produce more blogs on resources and resource sites?
3. Should I consider looking at making an ‘online magazine’ or archive of reviews/resources.

Back at school and it’s driving me crazy

Indeed. I’ve been back at school for a week and it’s, quite frankly, it’s pissing me off.

The school has taken on a ‘vertical tutoring’ system, whereby there’s at least one member of each year group in a form/tutor class. (This is year 9 to year 13, ages from 13yrs-18yrs). It’s a pile of crap, I’m being treated like a ten year old and nobody in the ‘leadership’ team seems to care about anybodies opinion. They didn’t even tell half of the teaching staff until they’d sorted out class and ‘houses’. I GOT OVER HOUSES AND ‘HOUSE POINTS’ IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND I WILL NOT TAKE PART IN ‘SPORTS DAY’ TO HELP MY HOUSE. Gees.

Sitting in a classroom with a bunch of silly kids isn’t my idea of ‘improving inter-year relationships and stopping bullying’. I’m 17 now and I’d like to concentrate on getting myself some damn good A-Levels and making it to university. GAH.

You can read about vertical tutoring here as I don’t think I’ve explained it too well….

For now, at least, because I’m still stuck doing two hundred hours of homework a day, follow me on twitter or check out my tumblr to keep updated.
